THE GAS SAFETY ‘TRUST’ IN PRISMA PARK
The UK’s leading gas safety charity, The Gas Safety Trust, formerly The CORGI Trust have taken a small 1,000 sq ft office at Prisma Park in Basingstoke.
The development is situated on Kingsland Business Park, only 2 miles from junction 6 of the M3 motorway and easily accessible from the A33 Reading Road.
The Gas Safety Trust have relocated from Chineham Park and have chosen a move to Prisma in order to accommodate the continued development of the Trust. They have taken a lease on the first floor of Unit 7 from developers, Equity Estates.
Nigel Dumbrell, Trust Manager commented “Prisma Park was selected in front of other office premises as the development offers brand new accommodation with superb build quality, set within an established and thriving business environment”.
BDT acted as joint agents for the landlord, and we see this transaction as further proof of momentum since the sale of Unit 9 Prisma Park to Decorus Limited, establishing a “cluster” of software and hi-tech companies on the site. Remaining units are being offered to let at £14.00 per sq ft or for sale freehold, now down as low as £150.00 per sq ft, a significant saving from the original cost of development.
